Alpaca Blankets

We have two types of blankets we sell. Both bring you all the benefits of alpaca fiber, while each one is a bit different. Both blanket types are sustainably made and responsibly sourced.

First, our incredibly soft, thin blankets. They are obtained through our Choice Alpaca Products Fiber Pool, but they are made by a family in Ecuador. Brian, of Choice Alpaca Products, has been working with this family for over 15 years. Your purchase not only supports our small business, but Brian's small business, and a family run business in Ecuador as well.

Second, our alpaca 'pendleton' - don't quote me on that, I don't want to get sued! But this blanket is just like your favorite Pendleton, but made with alpaca! It's got that heavier weight to it, perfect for a cold night. It's stitched with the blanket stich all the way around. It comes in several different plaids. All things very similar to a Pendleton, but made with alpaca! These blankets are made through the Peruvian Fiber Pool. I obtain them through a one-man small business, who works with the people of Peru. Your purchase supports not only our small business, but the small business of someone who is very vested in the alpaca community in the US and helps the alpaca community thrive.
